President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev while receiving the credential of the newly appointed ambassador, extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to Azerbaijan Abdullah Mohamed Abdullah Almauidin noted the importance of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kuwait in international organizations, including within the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Non-Aligned Movement, and OPEC+, APA reports.
President Ilham Aliyev stressed that during the occupation, Kuwait always supported the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
The head of our state noted that Azerbaijan has always made important contributions to the strengthening of Islamic solidarity.
President Ilham Aliyev stressed that Armenia committed acts of vandalism in our territories during the occupation and stated that 65 out of 67 mosques were destroyed.
The head of our state emphasized that Azerbaijan is carrying out large-scale restoration and construction works in the liberated territories and the possibility of the participation of Kuwaiti companies in this process.
