Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on medium-term target limits of the consolidated budget non-oil base deficit to non-oil GDP and public debt to GDP ratio, as well as on the approval of the upper limit of the ratio of the non-oil base deficit of the consolidated budget targeting the end of 2022 to the non-oil GDP, APA reports.
According to the decree, the upper-term target of the consolidated budget's non-oil base deficit to non-oil GDP was set at 20,0 percent in the medium term, and by the end of 2022 – 27,5 percent.
The Cabinet of Ministers should solve issues arising from this decree.
