President Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order on simplifying visa prosedures of foreigners and stateless persons coming to the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with the organisation and holding of 2023 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, APA reports.
According to the Order, foreigners and stateless persons who came to the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with the 2023 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix race and presented any of the documents mentioned in part 2 of this Order, from April 1 to May 15, 2023, will be allowed to enter Azerbaijan. They can get a visa at the international airports of the Republic.
One of the following documents is considered the basis for issuing a visa:
Accreditation card or other document confirming accreditation in accordance with the relevant regulations of the international organizers of Formula 1 competitions which are the Formula One Management Limited Company and the International Automobile Federation;
Accreditation card confirming accreditation at the Baku City Circuit Operations Company;
A ticket to the 2023 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix race, including an electronic ticket or a document confirming the purchase of the ticket.
