"The World Health Organization intends on the continuation of cooperation with Azerbaijan from now on too," said Hans Henry Kluge, Regional Director for Europe of the World Health Organization (WHO), at a meeting with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on April 26, APA reports.
Noting the Organization's readiness for close contribution to reforms currently conducted in the health system in Azerbaijan, the guest has added that measures taken in direction of the establishment of digital and electron health systems in our country are also very positive.
WHO Regional Director emphasized that the World Health Organization is ready to contribute to the establishment of a health care system in the liberated territories of Karabakh and East Zangazur, especially in the digital health care system, and to work closely with Azerbaijan.
Mr. Kluge also stressed that Azerbaijan can become one of the regional centers providing health services in cooperation with the World Health Organization.
