10 countries call for cancellation of Summer Olympics in Tokyo

The number of countries calling for cancellation of the Summer Olympic Games Tokyo-2020 has reached 10, Apasport.az website reports.

The national Olympic committees of Norway, Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia, the USA, France, Canada, Spain, Brazil and Australia have considered necessary to call off the competition.

Two of the countries putting forward the cancellation demand have taken a stricter step. Canada refused participation in Tokyo-2020, and Australia announced impossibility of sending athletes to this competition. The list of countries appealing to the International Olympic Committee has also been joined by World Athletics Federation and the US Athletics Federation (USATF).
