The Supervisory Board of the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) decided to appeal the verdict of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) to declare the organization non-compliant with the code in the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), APA reports citing TASS.

The corresponding decision was made at a meeting of the supervisory board held on December 19.

Note that on December 9, the WADA executive committee recognized RUSADA as non-compliant with the World Anti-Doping Code and removed Russia from international competitions for four years, and also forbade it from hosting international tournaments. In addition, the participation of Russian athletes in competitions only in neutral status was recommended.
