Minsk 2019: Azerbaijani boxer qualifies to 1/4 final

The fifth day of boxing competitions has started at the Second European Games in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, APA’s correspondent reports from Minsk.

The men boxers in the 60kg weight class went to the ring on “Uruchye Arena”.

Boxers have competed at the 1/8 finals. A member of the Azerbaijani team Javid Chalabiyev also has held his next fight. The world champion has faced with Moldovan representative Dorin Buksa. Azerbaijani winner of the 5: 0 score has risen to 1/4 finals.

C. Chalabiyev will hold 1/4 final match on June 26. Our boxer will face with the winner of Jordan Rodriguez (France) and Otar Eranosyan (Georgia) match.

Note that up to Chalabiev, Rufat Huseynov (49 kg) and Lorenzo Sotomayor (69 kg) has risen to 1/4 finals.
