5.5-magnitude quake hits Turkey

The quake occurred at a depth of more than 90 km at 15:44 local time, seismologists say, APA reports citing Sputnik.

A 5.5-magnitude earthquake hit off the coast of Turkey's province of Antalya, the Kandili Observatory said.

Earlier, it said the quake was measured at 5.4 on the Richter scale.

According to seismologists, the quake occurred at a depth of 93.3 km.

The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre has measured the quake at 5.3 on the Richter scale.

No injuries or damage has been reported.

The quake was felt in neighbouring cities, locals said on social media.
