Iran and Armenia: allies who cover up each other's fraud -COMMENTARY

Iran and Armenia: allies who cover up each other

Nationwide protests in Iran, which began after the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini, continue for the fourth day. The rallies accompanied by the clashes are reported to have spread to 13 cities, including Tehran, Tabriz, and Isfahan. According to information, three people lost their lives as a result of the shooting opened by the security forces, while about 250 people were detained.

These bloody protests, which take place almost every year in Iran, and the fact that the masses of the people take to the streets and demand justice, is like that the society, which has fallen into a deplorable state, is exhausted from environmental problems, and its most basic rights and freedoms have been taken away under the guise of religion, take anger out on somebody.

This year's protests are a bit different. The actions that began last year due to water shortages are directed against the implementation of the system itself this year.

The dictation/fatwa of the class, which holds the monopoly of power on any sphere of life, is binding for everyone, regardless of language, religion, sect, or outlook. What is happening today in Iran, where different thoughts are persecuted, social activists are executed for their political views, and where it is prohibited to lead a lifestyle according to your worldview, is an appearance of moral chaos in the country.

Iranian government again blames foreign agency networks and terrorists for the tension that occurred. Information on the detention of foreign spies from “3 different countries” with “night operation” has already been disseminated.
Shortly, whatever happens, Iran does not change and most likely it will remain the same.

Since the Achaemenid dynasty the religion, and king generation of this country changed a lot, however, the attitude of the ruling class toward the lower and various classes of the country remained the same, as it was 2500 years ago.

The events happening in Iran are the focus of the world. Media of the several democratic countries, or at least, claiming themselves to, illuminates the events that occurred, with concern, share news on humiliations that ordinary Iranians actually face every day, on violation of rights and freedom.

It is already four days that the world media is somehow trying to convey to its audience what is happening by obtaining photos and videos from Iran, where strong censorship is applied to the Internet.

There is no public or political reaction in Armenia, which was presented as a “Chinese wall” in front of an “authoritarian regime” by Nancy Pelosi, about what happened.

Armenia, which talks about democracy and human rights, is playing "three monkeys" with regard to what is happening in Iran, whose public opinion and politicians it considers to be its closest neighbors. Silence to the oppression is cruelty in itself. So why did not Armenia make any comment on the situation in Iran with just a word where the values, fundamental rights, and freedoms that it claims to be defenders are violated? In fact, this is an artistic question. Iran and Armenia which have close friendly and brotherly relations are two friendly and allied countries that introduce themselves to the world with different masks but try to cover up each other's shame and guilt.

As Iran is turning a blind eye to Armenia's aggression against another nation, Azerbaijanis, Armenia also is turning a blind eye to Iran's aggression against its people.

It is worth reminding that the US added Iran among the countries supporting terrorism. Armenia is probably Iran's closest friend. At this point, it's worth reminding Nancy Pelosi of the famous saying: show me your friend and I'll tell you who you are. High hopes regarding Armenia which has two hundred years of terrorist history could be fatal for the US itself.
