Turkey in talks to receive Shah Deniz gas

Azerbaijan State Oil Company (SOCAR) and Turkish state-owned Petroleum Pipeline Corporation BOTAS are negotiating on delivery of the Caspian Shah Deniz gas to Turkey.
SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev said natural gas will be pumped to Turkey just after the second well in Shah Deniz Field comes on line in late March, APA-Economics reports.
This year Shah Deniz Field will deliver 2.5bn cu m of natural gas to Azerbaijan for domestic use, 2.8bn cu m of gas to Turkey and 0.25bn cu m of gas to Georgia (transit tax).
