Azerbaijan’s gas output with 6% excess

During February, Azerbaijan produced 681.44mln cu m of gas against the planned 643.53mln cu m with an excess of 5.9%, the SOCAR, State Oil Company, told APA
412.94mln cu m of gas (100.1%) were produced by the SOCAR, 403.08mln 100.6%) by Gas and Gas Units, 9.86mln cu m (85.1%) by joint ventures and operating companies, 43.07mln cu m from Shah Deniz and the rest were extracted from Azeri-Guneshli-Chirag Field.
A total of 1,393.96mln cubic meters of gas were extracted during January-February with a surplus of 2.9%.
In February 605.85mln cu m of gas were delivered to the relevant structures against the planned 578.5mln cu m with an excess of 4.7%.
The forecast for gas production is 12,145mln cubic meters and the forecast for gas delivery is 11,312mln cubic meters for 2007. /APA-Economics/
