Azerbaijan’s oil output with 1.4% surplus

Azerbaijan produced 684,540 tonnes of oil against the planned 675,100 tonnes with an excess of 1.4% in February, 2007.
The SOCAR, State Oil Company, told APA-Economics that 593,770 tonnes of oil (101.7%) were produced by Oil and Gas Units, and 90,770 tonnes (99.6%) by joint ventures and operating companies.
A total of 1,443,860 tonnes of oil against the planned 1,422,550 tonnes were produced during the period of January-February with a surplus of 1.5%.
670,150 tonnes of oil (100.2%) were extracted in January, 2006.
The Company delivered 670,150 tonnes of oil against the planned 668,860 tonnes (100.2%).
Oil production prediction is 8,800,000 tonnes and delivery forecast is 8,720,000 tonnes for 2007. /APA/
