Azerbaijan extends special quarantine regime until 31 May

Term of special quarantine regime has been suspended until May 31, 2020, at 00:00 a.m., by taking into consideration current sanitary-epidemiological condition in Azerbaijan regarding novel coronavirus, preventive measures, applied in other countries, and recommendations of the World Health Organization, Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.

A decision has been adopted on softening several restrictions by taking into consideration the speed of infection of the virus among people, and the recovery dynamics of patients.

Softening of restrictions is carried out step-by-step in Baku, Sumgait, Ganja, Lankaran cities, Absheron district, and other regions by taking into account current sanitary-epidemiological conditions, number of patients, and infection speed.
