“Caucasian Muslims Office does not participate in the negotiations on David Garedji cloister situated on Azerbaijan-Georgia border. The government carries out such negotiations,†Sheikhulislam Haji Allahshukur Pashazade told journalists, APA reports. He said that this land is Azerbaijani territory.
“There can be a church, synagogue, or a mosque in this territory. People can go anywhere they want to meet their religious needs. But it does not mean to privatize it. These temples have been built for praying, and everyone has the right to pray in any temple he wants,†he said. /APA/
