Acceptance of documents for Hajj pilgrimage starts in Azerbaijan

The procedure of accepting documents for a Hajj pilgrimage from Azerbaijan has begun, the Caucasian Muslims Office (CMO) told APA.

The required documents for the hajj pilgrimage are a foreign passport, a copy of the identity card, four 3.5 4.5 cm color pictures on a white background, and a health certificate.

Document acceptance is carried out at the Caucasian Muslims Office's administrative, located at 7 Mirza Fatali Street, Baku.

The visit package costs US $5750 for one person. This year's visit will be uniformly prepared for Azerbaijani pilgrims and will be carried out via airplane flights.

Vusal Jahangiri, head of the Foreign Relations Department of the CMO and head of the Hajj Electronic System, told APA that the acceptance of documents related to the pilgrimage starts on March 17: "Document reception will be accepted from 10:00 to 17:00 every day, except holidays and vacations. Hajj pilgrimage is planned for the end of June, beginning of July. There are no age restrictions for visiting. Although there are no complete vaccine guidelines at this time, each pilgrim is expected to get two vaccinations."
