"I have always known Patriarch Ilia II as the elder of the Caucasus. He is a person who is loyal to friendship and brotherhood. He has always been by my side and supported me. Especially regarding the liberation of Karabakh and Azerbaijani lands, he supported both Azerbaijan and us inside and outside the country. Therefore the state of Azerbaijan and its leadership attach great importance to it," said the chairman of the CMB.
