On September 12, the chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO), Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade, leaves for a visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, APA reports citing the CMO.
The purpose of the visit is to participate in the 7th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions leaders to be held in Kazakhstan.
During this visit, Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazadeh=, a regular participant of the congresses, will hold meetings with the supreme leadership of Kazakhstan and influential religious leaders of the world, including His Holiness Pope Francis and Vatican officials, as well as the Chief Imam of Al-Azhar, Sheikh Ahmad al-Tayyeb. He is also expected to be interviewed by the world's well-known media organizations.
The visit will last until September 16.
