“Shusha returned to Azerbaijan, Shusha is free,” Press secretary of the Baku and Azerbaijan Dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church, Archpriest Konstantin Pominov said in an interview with APA’s correspondent sent to Shusha.

Konstantin Pominov has noted that if there are diamonds in the crown, then Shusha is probably the most precious diamond: “A wonderful, beautiful city with ancient architectural and cultural monuments. We have just visited a church, an ancient monument. We will go to an Orthodox church, a mosque. Honestly, I would like to wish one thing - that this land to be filled with children's voices, laughter, joy, love, so that there is a full life here. So that people forget about grief, and Shusha really shone as the brightest pearl of our country.”

Archpriest Konstantin noted that when the fighting was still going on, the President gave a guarantee that all the cultural architectural monuments that were damaged would be restored at the expense of the state, and we see that this is all confirmed. Now both mosques and churches, as well as old historical buildings - all this will be restored as it was in its original form.”
