Azerbaijan's CMO chairman visits Indonesia

Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh leaves for Indonesia on October 31, the Office told APA.

The purpose of the visit is to attend the G20 Religion Forum (R20) which is to be held in Indonesia in 2022, on November 2-3.

The R20 summit to be held in Bali, recognized by the Indonesian government as the main official event of the G20 Forum, will serve to create a platform for the leaders of different religions in the world to support the common values of civilizations. Joko Widodo, President of the Republic of Indonesia is expected to attend the opening ceremony of the R20 Summit.

Note that as part of Indonesia's G20 presidency, Nahdatul Ulama, the world's most-known Muslim organization, established the G20 Religious Forum (R20) in order to develop shared moral and spiritual values.
