"Mosques all over Azerbaijan hold ceremonies related to Ashura. There is no obstacle from the state in this regard. Such cases have not been observed so far and won't happen in the future," said Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office (CMO) Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade to journalists, APA reports.

According to him, some forces strived to create conflicts within the country on some issues: "As you see, leaders of other confessions also participated in the blood donation campaign. It once again shows that there is no religious discrimination among all the religious people in Azerbaijan. We also participate in their holidays and special days."
