On January 12, a delegation led by the Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade will pay a visit to Vatican, the press service of CMO told APA.
The delegation that the religious confessions operating in Azerbaijan are represented, includes Head of the Religious Community of Mountain Jews Melih Yevdayev, Archimandrite Alexei Nikonorov, Secretary of the Administration of the Baku Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church, Vladimir Fekete, Apostolic Prefect of the Catholic Church in Azerbaijan.
Within the framework of the visit, the Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade will meet with the Rome Pope Francis in Vatican.
