First group of pilgrims from Azerbaijan to leave for Hajj tomorrow

“The plane carrying the first group of pilgrims from Azerbaijan to Hajj will depart on June 29 at 12:30 Baku time,” the head of the international relations department of the Caucasus Muslims Office, a person in charge of the electronic system of the Azerbaijan Hajj Mission Vusal Jahangirli told APA.

According to him, that plane is expected to land in Jeddah at 16:30.

The head of the department noted that in general, pilgrims will travel on June 29, 30, and July 1, 2 with one flight per day: “The return of the pilgrims will be on July 19, 20, with 2 flights per day.”

V. Jahangirli highlighted that a total of 680 pilgrims, firstly 180 pilgrims from Azerbaijan, will visit: “The youngest pilgrim is a female born in 2001, while the oldest one is a male born in 1957.”
