"According to the calendar provided by the Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory, July 30 is the first day of the month of Muharram:
"On that day, the month of Zu al-Hijja(h) ends and the month of Muharram enters. It is the beginning of the year 1444 of the Hijri-Lunar calendar. the month of Muharram is the first month in the Hijri-Lunar calendar. Ashura day will fall on August 8. The day of Arbain, in other words, the 40th day of Imam Hussain's martyrdom will be September 17.
