"Islamophobia is a threat against global peace," Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu, member of Nizami Ganjavi International Center, and former Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation while delivering a speech at the international conference on "Islamophobia as a specific form of racism and discrimination: New Global and transnational challenges" organized by Baku International Multiculturalism Center (BIMC), the Center for International Relations Analysis, and the G20 Interreligious Dialogue Forum.
The former Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation said that when he took this post, one of the serious problems was a negative approach against Islam.
