Relevant measures to be conducted for organizing next tripartite meeting of Azerbaijani, Russian, and Armenian religious leaders

As reported, yesterday, the meeting of Sheikhul Islam Allahshukr Pashazadeh, Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office, with His Holiness Moscow and Patriarch Kirill of All Russia was held, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.

At the meeting, at the same time, opinions were exchanged on holding the next meeting of the religious leaders of Azerbaijan, Russia, and Armenia.

At the meeting, the importance of effectively continuing the bilateral meetings of the religious leader of Azerbaijan Sheikhulislam A. Pashazade on behalf of the CMO and Patriarch Kirill on the behalf of the Russian Orthodox Church was noted. In the example of Etchmiadzi, it was considered appropriate to maintain the format of the tripartite meeting with the Armenian Catholicos and to conduct relevant work for the organization of a new tripartite meeting in the future.
