"Works are underway in the territories liberated from occupation regarding detection of mosques and worship places," said Deputy Chairman of State Committee on Religious Associations Gunduz Ismayilov at a press conference, APA reports.
According to him, 67 mosques have been detected in these lands so far:
"Excepting two mosques, all others are in destroyed condition. Aghdam Juma Mosque and Yukhari Govharagha Mosque are in a relatively safe condition."
Deputy Chairman of Committee has noted that capital renovation of Zangilan city mosque, which earlier existed in Zangilan, is continued:
"At the same time, construction works of new mosque complexes in Hadrut, Shusha, and Sugovushan are underway."
