"Sometimes, Azerbaijan is attempted to be shown among the countries where freedom of religion is violated," Deputy Chairman of State Committee for Work with Religious Associations Sayavush Heydarov told journalists, APA reports.
Sayavush Heydarov has stressed that all condition necessary for comfortable activity of religious communities has been created in Azerbaijan.
"Armenian vandalism, especially Armenian brutality in the territories liberated from occupation is turned a blind eye and the issue has not attached enough importance. These facts are approached superficially, or not paid attention to, and not reflected in the reports. At the same time, several international organizations try to politicize Islam and Christianity. Certainly, politicization of the Islam is unacceptable. Religion becomes a dangerous case when it is politicized," he added.
