"May 13 and 14 have officially been accepted as Ramadan holiday days. Prayer on Ramadan holiday is not among those prays, which are important sharia. It is mustahabb prayer," Deputy Chairman of Caucasian Muslims' Office Fuad Nurullayev told APA.
F. Nurullayev noted that the Shari'a commands to pay zakat al-fitr on the evening of the holiday: “People, who have the opportunity, they give zakat al-fitr to needy families. Those who want can perform the holiday prayer on May 13 during Ramadan holiday until the Zuhr prayer.
