Favorable balance of trade makes 1.069m in Azerbaijan in January-September

As of October 1, favorable balance reached $1 068 804 600 in exports and imports of Azerbaijan during the period of January-September. Residents and nonresidents carried out trade operations of $8 626.126m with 134 countries during this period.
State Customs Committee told APA that the exports stood at 4 847.4653m and the imports made 3 778.6607m. Humanitarian goods of 19 147 tonnes amounting to $30.7841m were imported to the country through the state, governmental and international organizations.
The exports grew by 93.94% ($2 348.0501m), year-on-year, in this period and imports grew 17.14% ($552.8007m).
Temporary imports made up $28.7884m and temporary imports stood at $250.6619m.
As to the structure of the export, crude oil was 60.65%, oil products 24.51%, chemicals 3%, fruits and vegetables 1.59%, aluminum 1.12%, ferrous metals 0.83%, grease and vegetable oil 0.97%, cotton 0.61%, tobacco 0.36%, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages 0.23% and other goods 6.14%.
As to the imports, the machinery and electronics apparatuses equipment and spare parts were 31.21%, oil gas and other hydrocarbons 9.33%, ferrous metals 8.76%, foodstuffs 7.63%, transport facilities and spare parts 15.69%, costumer goods 1.11, firewood 1.09%, chemist’s goods 0.98% and furniture 0.52%. /APA/
The portion of the state sector in the exports was $2 743.3397m (56.59%) and the portion of the private sector was $2 054.0397m (42.37). As to imports, the shares are $1 104.0843m (29.13%) and $2 486.0541m (65.58%) respectively. /APA/
