Taxes Ministry has developed some 70 amendments to the Tax Code and is going to forward it to the parliament for discussion, Deputy Minister of Taxes Natig Amirov aid, APA reports.
As to the imposition of excise tax on automobiles while being imported to Azerbaijan, he said the automobiles will be categorized into groups such as cars having engines up to 3 000 cu m/cm and 4 000 cu m/cm.
“Excise tax of AZN 4 will be imposed on cars having engines of 4000 cu m/cm. Besides, Soviet-made cars are expected not to be excised or the tax will be very tiny,� he said. /APA/
