“Iravan Khanate” book published in the German language

The presentation of the book “Iravan Khanate: Russian invasion and resettlement of Armenians to the territory of Northern Azerbaijan” published in the German language was held at the expanded Scientific Council of the Institute of History of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), APA reports.

Delivering a speech at the event Director of the Institute of History, Academician Yaqub Mahmudov stated that the new edition was a serious message to Armenians, their supporters and the world community. He stated that this book has been published in a number of languages in terms of Turkish, English, Russian, Romanian, Italian, Arabic and Spanish so far.

Within the framework of the event, video clip dedicated to Iravan Khanate was shown.

Note that the book “Iravan Khanate” was written with an initiative of President Ilham Aliyev. The book's scientific editor and project manager is director of the Institute of History, academician Yagub Mahmudov, translator and editor is Saadat Zeynalova, Doctor of Philology, Professor, Laureate of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
