"Ulvi Mehdiyev: "Taxi service will operate over the weekends"

"Activity of public transportation is banned on weekends, but taxi service will operate", said Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ulvi Mehdiyev at the press conference of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

According to him, main reason of banning the activity of public transportation is to minimize places, which are gathered by people in large numbers: "Although it is difficult, every company should organize movement of employees, working on Saturday and Sunday, by company's cars, private cars, if there is not, through taxi service. I think, although suspension of 2 days causes difficulty, the situation can be solved by the ways, I have mentioned."
