100 tents mounted near Bilesuvar customs border crossing station due to coronavirus threat

The second phase acceptance and assortment station of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has started functioning in Bilesuvar region, APA’s south bureau reports.

Some 100 tents capable of accommodating 500 people have been mounted for this purpose near Bilesuvar customs border crossing station.

The head of Medical Service of Civil Defense Troops of the MES Elchin Aligulov told APA that the initial medical examination and assortment of all people crossing the border is arranged just at the customs crossing station.

The suspicious people detected there are dispatched to relevant medical institutions: “And others are accommodated in the tents at the second phase acceptance and assortment station, and the medical examination process is implemented by the doctors’ brigade consisting of 6 persons”.

E. Aligulov said there are all capabilities at the station for initial medical examination: “If the persons suspected of being infected with the virus are also detected at this station, they will be dispatched to relevant medical institutions situated in the region”.

E. Aligulov said the sanitary and epidemiological situation at the mounted camp is controlled by the Hygiene and Epidemiology Center, and the Mughan Regional Center of the MES: “Over 100 members of the personnel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have been involved in the process. The stations have been supplied with water, heating and electricity. The stations have kitchen, lavatory, and bathroom”.

Note that a similar camp has also been established near Astara customs border crossing station.
