1,499 drivers violating quarantine regime brought to administrative responsibility in Azerbaijan during past 24 hours

For violation of the quarantine regime applied in order to prevent spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, during the period from 00:00 on 06.04.2020 till 08:00 on 07.04.2020 on the automobile roads of the country a total of 1,499 people including 861 people in Baku City driving their transport facilities have been brought to administrative responsibility on the basis of clause 211 of the Administrative Offences Code of the Azerbaijan Republic, the Main SRP Department of MIA told APA.

The reports says from 01.04.2020 up to now, for violation of the special quarantine regime on the automobile roads of the country including the capital city, a total of 6,945 road users have been brought to the administrative responsibility.

The department recommends the road users not leave their residential houses, apartments without any necessity and without obtaining a permission according top relevant procedure, and calls on every citizen to strictly obey the required rules while approaching mindfully the special quarantine regime applied in our country.
