83 of 194 children, returned from Iraqi prisons and orphanages, registered last year

Births of 127,588 children were registered in 2020, said head of Registration Service of Civil Status Acts of the Justice Ministry Reyhana Karimova at the press conference, dedicated to Ministry's activity in 2020, APA reports.

67,972 of them were boys, 59,616 were girls. At the same time, births of 1,691 twins, 46 triplets, and one quadruplet were registered.

The births of 1401 children have been registered in the mobile hospitals and given the birth certificate in 2020. There are children in the villages, settlements, whose births are not registered, and as a result of educational works regarding this, 1312 children have been found and 1205 of them have been registered. 83 of 194 children returned from Iraqi prisons and orphanages in 2020 have been registered.
