“Holidays were announced in all education institutions during the last two weeks. This was the most optimal decision”, said minister of Education Emin Amrullayev at the held briefing dedicated to extra measures regarding organization of activity of education institutions functioning on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan during the period of the special quarantine regime, APA reports.
The minister said since commencement of war against the Armenian aggression from September 27, the teaching activity was suspended in about 20 regions of the country: “During the last two week, we saw that this aggression is applied against both schools and civilian population. Currently Azerbaijan wages struggle against the terrorist state. Our 9 pupils lost their life as a result of this aggression during last one month. At the same time, about 50 schools have fallen in disrepair”.
