ANAS: Research to be conducted to read genetic code of coronavirus

On August 20, the next meeting of Presidium of ANAS was held, Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences told APA.

Vice-President of ANAS, academician Irada Huseynova stated that experts of ANAS, Ministry of Health and Food Safety Agency will conduct researches in the field of reading genetic code of coronavirus.

She also noted that by the order of the President, 3rd volume of Red Book is planned to be published in 2023 and an Editorial Board consisting of scientists has been established at ANAS in this regard. I. Huseynova said that the agreement is being prepared between ANAS and the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources on the joint publication of Red Book.
