President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on the measures related to designing and drilling of sub-artesian wells for satisfaction of the sowing areas’ water demand and people’s drinking water demand in Gazakh region, APA reports.
Based on the order, AZN 980.0 (nine hundred and eighty) thousand from the proceeds envisaged for drilling of sub-artesian wells has been allocated to Azerbaijan Land Reclamation and Water Management Open Joint-Stock Company in order to improve water supply in Azerbaijan’s regions in the framework of distribution of the state fixed capital investments (investment expenditures) included in the state budget of Azerbaijan Republic for 2020 in order to improve supply of irrigation water of sowing areas and homestead plots of land used for sowing, as well as to satisfy people’s demand for drinking water at 14 residential settlements (their list is attached hereto) of Gazakh region with population of 46,271 people.
The Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan Republic should ensure financing in the amount shown in the 1st part of this Order.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan Republic should solve the issues arising from this Order.
