Agency chairman: “No aggravation case observed among children infected with coronavirus in Azerbaijan”

The chairman of Management Board of the State Agency for Mandatory Medical Insurance Zaur Aliyev has disclosed the health condition of the children infected with coronavirus in Azerbaijan, APA reports.

The Agency’s chairman making a speech at the press conference of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers noted that so far no aggravation case has been observed among the children infected with coronavirus in the country:

“Although the results of their tests conducted after certain period turned out to be negative for 2 times, they are nevertheless discharged from hospital while being kept under doctor’s control”.

Note that 5% of all people infected with the virus in Azerbaijan are the persons at the age ranging between 0-9, while 6% - ranging between 10-19.
