Ambassador: "Germany intends to continue its support projects for IDPs"

Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs Rovshan Rzayev has met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to the Republic of Azerbaijan Wolfgang Manig, State Committee told APA.
The guest has been informed of the refugee and IDP problem of Azerbaijan over the last 30 years as a result of Armenia's ethnic cleansing and occupation policy, works done in the direction of their solution, as well as condition of the territories liberated from occupation, preparation for the return of IDPs to their native land at the meeting.
It has been noted that purposeful measures have been taken for improvement of life condition of IDPs under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. Taking care of such people is also one of the main directions of activity of the First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva.
Highly appreciating end of conflict in the region and establishment of condition for the return of IDPs, Wolfgang Manig expressed willing of his country to assist the establishment of sustainable peace, restoration of inter-communities relations and ties among citizen institutions. He also noted that the German government intends to continue execution of its projects, aimed at support to IDPs, from now too.
Mutually-interested issues have been discussed at the meeting.
