“So far, analyzing the current situation by the task force, as a result of preventive measures, the number of infections and death is remaining low in comparison to other countries. As a result of the efforts of doctors it is possible to save lives of patients,” the head of press service of task force Ibrahim Mammadov said, APA reports.

According to him, the increase and decrease rate of infection changes: “That is, although sometimes a decrease is observed, the next increase exceeds the previous level of decrease. The number of infections remains higher than the number of cures. This trend requires new preventive steps."

Mr. Mammadov noted that doctors also say that isolation is very important to prevent infection: "But observations and facts also show that citizens do not follow a very important rule, such as self-isolation. For example, on April 8, 3,073 violations of the quarantine regime were observed during the day. On April 10, this figure increased to 3,112. Today, April 11, 3,810 violations were registered during the day, 27 of them - administrative arrest, one criminal case. 27 cases of violation indicate that there is a need for more stringent severe measures. Until today, the government did not want to take tough measures to limit it. Because there was confidence that citizens would discipline to comply with the rules of the quarantine regime, observe self-isolation and without tough measures. However, today's picture shows that further tightening of isolation rules is becoming a requirement of the day."
