Azerbaijan’s Health Ministry and SACMI release information on health condition of students, returned from quarantine in Turkey

Ministry of Health and State Agency on Compulsory Medical Insurance (SACMI) of the Republic of Azerbaijan have released joint information, the Ministry told APA.

According to the information received from the Clinical Medicine Center, there are 2 persons in the Infectious Diseases Department on February 17.

They are an Azerbaijani citizen (1994), studying in Changchun city of China and an Azerbaijani citizen (1992), studying in Wuhan city of China. Mentioned students arrived in Ankara on February 1 on the Wuhan-Ankara route and were quarantined there. During the quarantine period, the results of the analysis, conducted in Turkey, were negative; it means any problem was not found in their health condition. As their temperatures were a little higher than normal when they returned to Baku, they have placed at the Infectious Diseases Department of Clinical Medicine Center. According to the information Health Ministry received from the Infectious Diseases Department at 07:30 a.m., temperatures of both of them are normal, there is no serious problem in their condition. The doctor's control of them is continued.

According to the information, the Health Ministry received from medical institution specially-allocated for the people, came from the virus-hit zone of China, there is one person in the hospital now. His quarantine period will end on February 18. The person’s condition is normal, he has not any complaint.
