Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Education addresses to students studying abroad

Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan has addressed to the citizens studying in universities of the foreign countries, the Ministry told APA.

The education process in high schools has temporarily been suspended in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus in Azerbaijan as well as in many countries and the condition has been created for students to continue their studies without physically participating in lessons.

In connection with the current situation, during the applying the "Rules for the recognition and equivalence (nostrification) of foreign specialties in the field of higher education" approved by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers the mentioned point will be taken into account on the basis of official information obtained from the National Information Centers of the member countries of the Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education in the European Region (Lisbon Convention) and the competent authorities of the non-member countries or the relevant higher education institution.

At the same time, the citizens have been recommended to get acquainted with the "Nostrification" and "Frequently Asked Questions" sections of the website of the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (www.tkta.edu.az).
