Azerbaijan's Presidential Aide: Resuming domestic air transportation is discussed

“The issue of resuming domestic flights is also discussed,” assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan- Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hikmat Hajiyev said at the press conference organized by Task Force under the Cabinet of the Ministers, APA reports.

H. Hajiyev said that Nakhchivan is under blockade as a result of the policy pursued by the Armenian state. In the period of the pandemic, all measures have been taken in order to implement the necessary needs of citizens in Nakhchivan: “The issue of resuming flights between Nakhchivan and Baku may be considered. However, the situation regarding the quarantine regime should also be taken into account.”
