Some Internet resources circulated an appeal on behalf of Arzu Aliyeva, younger daughter of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, allegedly contained calls for users not to share information regarding military issues, says Public Relations Department of the State Security Service of Azerbaijan (SSS), APA reports.
According to the SSS, conducted preliminary investigation says it was defined that the mentioned information was disseminated for the purpose of misleading public opinion and for the sake of sensation by using fake profiles, and such information had nothing to do with Arzu Aliyeva.
“We note that currently the activity on the determination of those people who share such provocative posts on social networks and taking relevant measures in accordance with law on them is being continued,” the information reads.
