“The reopening of mosques in connection with holiday prays is still banned”, said today Ibrahim Mammadov, head of press service of the Cabinet of Ministers at the press conference organized by the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers, APA reports.

I. Mammadov said it is not clear how the situation will be in the next week: “Everything depends on sanitary and epidemiological situation. Our present capabilities allow us to manage the current situation. If the infection rate increases, the quarantine regime may be toughened again”.

I. Mammadov noted that the infection rate among the people arriving from abroad is high and reaches 20 percent and even 30 percent: “For instance, in the last plane arriving from Ukraine 29 from 120 passengers tested positive for coronavirus. It means that all passengers arrived in that plane should be put in quarantine. And the infection rate among the people arriving from Russia is 20 percent”.
