Azerbaijan approves list of goods banned to export until September 1 in Coronavirus Response

The list of goods restricted for export from the customs territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan until September 1 has been approved to meet the needs in the fight against the new coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan has made a relevant amendment to the corresponding law in this regard, APA reports.

The list includes the following goods:

- Undenatured ethyl alcohol of an alcoholic strength by volume of 80 % vol or higher/ ethyl alcohol

- Ethyl alcohol and other alcoholic tinctures denatured in any concentration

- Denatured ethyl alcohol with an alcohol content of less than 80% by volume: with a capacity of 2 liters or less

- Pharmaceutical products (gauze and gauze products that are not packaged in molds or packaging for retail sale)

- Disinfectants

- Tests to detect coronavirus (COVID-19) infection

- Shoe covers

- Sterile and non-sterile gloves

- Fabrics used in the manufacture of medical (for surgery or procedure) masks and respirators, disposable protective clothing (overalls) used by medical personnel

- Disposable protective clothing (overalls) used by medical personnel

- Medical masks and respirators (for surgery or procedure), disposable protective clothing (overalls) used by medical personnel

- Hermetic goggles for use by medical personnel

- Ozone, oxygen and aerosol therapy, artificial respiration or another therapeutic respirator

- Electronic portable thermometers for non-contact measurement of human temperature.
