Azerbaijan prolongs border restrictions with Iran for two weeks more

The decision on temporary closing border with Islamic Republic of Iran on the basis of restrictive regime has been extended for the next two weeks, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.

While considering WHO’s declaration coronavirus infection (COVID-19) as a global pandemics, a decision, made on February 29, 2020 on temporarily close the state border between Azerbaijan and Iran on the basis of a restrictive regime in connection with the risk of spreading of coronavirus in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, has been extended for the next two weeks.
