Azerbaijan restores most inter-district and inter-city communications

The current sanitary-epidemiological situation in Azerbaijan in connection with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, the preventive measures being taken in other countries and the recommendations of the World Health Organization have been analyzed and the decision has been made to extend the special quarantine regime until 00:00, 31 May 2020, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers has told APA.

At the same time, taking into consideration the rate of the infection and the recovery dynamics among patients, a number of restrictions have been eased.

Therefore, starting from 00:00, 4 May 2020 inter-district and inter-city communication was resumed on the territory of the republic, with the exception of Baku, Sumgait, Ganja, Lankaran and Absheron district.
