Azerbaijan to create specialized food safety information and monitoring system

In terms of agricultural development, the existing legislation in Azerbaijan will be improved, incentive mechanisms will be developed and public awareness measures will be implemented in this area, it is reflected in the General Collective Agreement among the Cabinet of Ministers, the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan and the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers' Organizations) of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2020-2022, APA reports.

According to the agreement, the parties also undertook to create a specialized information and monitoring system on food security, to collect information on food security, to ensure its systematization in a single database.
